Sifnos doesn’t have its own airport, but don’t worry—we’ll make sure your journey is as smooth as possible! Below are the travel options we’ve arranged to help you get to the island stress-free. For your planning, note that Athens is UTC+2, one hour ahead of Berlin.

Option A: Coming through Athens on August 15
Fly to Athens International Airport (ATH). We’re coordinating a transport from Athens airport to Piraeus Port to simplify your journey.

• Group Transport & Ferry: Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, a private shuttle will take you to the port. The group ferry to Sifnos departs on Friday, August 15, at 3:00 pm. Please plan to leave the airport by 12:45 pm at the latest to ensure a timely arrival with the shuttle at the port.

• Group Booking Details: We’ll finalize the group booking by the end of January, and the agent will contact you for planning and payment. The group rate offers significant savings, and this option will make your trip much easier!

• If you arrive in Athens before August 15 but still plan to travel to Sifnos that day, please arrange your own transfer to the port based on your hotel location. If it’s more convenient, you’re welcome to join the shuttle from the airport—just let us know in your RSVP.

Option B: Coming through Mykonos
Fly to Mykonos Airport (JMK) if you prefer an alternative route. From Mykonos Airport, it’s a quick 10–15-minute taxi ride to the port.

• Ferry to Sifnos: Departs at 5:25 pm on August 15 and takes approximately 2 hours. We’re happy to help with ferry bookings from Mykonos.

Important Note: The days around the wedding are busy travel periods, so we encourage you to arrange your flights as early as possible to secure availability and ensure a smooth trip.

A Note on Return Travel:
The travel agent arranging the group ferry to Sifnos will contact interested guests directly for return bookings.

• Return Ferries to Athens: Sunday at 10:55 am, 11:20 am, and 5:20 pm; Monday at 10:55 am, 11:20 am, and 5:40 pm.

• Return Ferry to Mykonos: Departs at 1:15 pm on both Sunday and Monday.

We recommend finalizing your return plans early to take advantage of group booking benefits!

The wedding dinner & party will be in Platis Yialos, so this is the ideal area for hotels. The area does not have that many hotels, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. However, hotels further away will not be a problem and we will make sure transports are available for all guests.

We will arrange a bus to take everyone from Platis Yialos and Apollonia to the church and then to Lazarou for the party right after the ceremony.

To help with accommodations, we’ve made some pre-reservations at Ktima Vrisiana, a hotel near the venue, which can accommodate a total of 36 people. These spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we’ll provide details on where to transfer the payment once your reservation is confirmed.

If anyone requires additional help with accommodation, we’re more than happy to assist. That said, since everyone has different budgets, we recommend starting your research and booking process as soon as possible to secure your preferred option.

Your travels to Greece and presence at our special day are the biggest gift of all.

Friday: For the welcome evening, we are going to a beach bar so bring your summer outfits and a swimsuit in case you want to jump in the sea with us.

Saturday: For the ceremony and party, we recommend summer formal outfits. Ties and heals welcome but absolutely not required.
